Sometimes I worship the bird god 😂 #goddesspose #69yearsyoung #yogaeveryday Been working on presses into headstand (see my story) after losing confidence in them during the break in my practice last summer and spring. I used to get so frustrated when I’d “lose” a pose, but I’ve come to terms with the ebb and flow. My priority this fall and winter was regaining strength and stamina and flexibility after a really terrible six months of stress. Now it’s time for the playful part 🙃 I realize that I’m just damn lucky to have what I have and that grasping, or regrets about setbacks are counterproductive. Isn’t that the real yoga kicking in? Springtime is a time of rejuvenation and growth and I can feel the sap rising n my body. 2019 is going to be a great year. 🙏🏻
